Remove Equipment from this Drawing

The Remove Equipment from this Drawing command is used to remove equipment from a drawing while leaving it in the database.

tip

To remove equipment from the drawing and the database, instead use the AutoCAD ERASE command.

To remove a piece of equipment from the drawing, go to
Ribbon: DM Electrical→Devices→ Remove Equipment from this Drawing icon Remove Equipment from this Drawing
Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Equipment→Remove Equipment from this Drawing

You will be prompted to select the equipment to remove from the drawing.

Select equipment to remove from drawing:

The selected equipment will be removed from the drawing but remain in the database. If it was connected to a circuit, it will remain connected.

You can use the Insert Equipment on this Drawing command to reinsert the equipment.
