Array Device (Distance / Angle)

The Array Device (Distance/Angle) command is used to array devices on the drawing in a straight line from the first device in a set direction with a set distance between each device.

warning

The standard CAD ARRAY command does not work on Design Master entities. Use this command instead.

To array a device using the distance/angle method, go to
Ribbon: DM Electrical→Devices→  Array Device (Distance/Angle)
Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical→Modify Devices→Array Device (Distance/Angle)

You will be prompted to select the devices to array.

Select devices to array:

You will then be prompted to set an offset distance and angle. The distance between each device in the array will be based upon the distance from the first device to the specified point.

Offset distance and angle:

You will then be prompted to specify the number of devices in the array, including the selected device.

Number of devices in array (including selected device):

The devices in the array will be generated in the direction of the specified point from the selected device.
