Insert Solid: Rectangle

The Insert Solid: Rectangle command is used to insert solid objects that are rectangular. These objects are closed. If the Starting Elevation is 0, any illuminance levels inside the rectangle will not be printed.

To define a solid rectangle, go to
Ribbon: DM Photometrics→Solids→  Rectangle
Pulldown Menu: DM Photometrics→Insert Solid: Rectangle

Insert Solid: Rectangle Dialog Box

Visit the Common Solids Information section for more information about the values in this dialog box.

Enter the relevant information into the dialog box and press the button. You will be prompted to specify the first corner of the solid rectangle on the drawing.

Specify first corner of solid rectangle:

You will then be prompted to specify the second corner of the solid rectangle.

Specify second corner of solid rectangle:

The solid rectangle will be displayed on the drawing and included in the photometric calculations.
