Branch Circuit Breaker and Wire Sizing
ElectroBIM is an add-in for Revit that sizes branch circuit breakers and wires automatically based upon the load connected to the circuit.
Individual circuit breakers and wire sizes can be resized as needed — upsize for voltage drop or account for motor requirements using FLA, MCA, and MOCP values.
ElectroBIM uses those motor values to calculate the breaker and conductor sizes for motor circuits automatically.
Load-Based Sizing
Branch circuit breakers are sized automatically from connected loads; wire sizes follow from the calculated breaker.
Manual Overrides
Resize individual breakers or wires for voltage drop or other design needs without disrupting the rest of the project.
Motor Support
Specify FLA, MCA, and MOCP on motors — ElectroBIM uses those values to size breakers and conductors for motor circuits.
