Design Master Electrical 8.7 is now available. It includes updates to photometrics and one-line diagrams, as well as a number of other minor improvements.
If you have a project going out tomorrow, we would recommend you wait to install this new version until after your deadline has passed.

The latest version is listed at the top of the Change Log. To check what version you are currently running, go to DM Electrical->Help->About.
Download and run the installer.
It is necessary to also update to the latest version of Design Master HVAC and Design Master Plumbing if you use them.
Choose the installer that includes all of the programs you use:
Install it to the location to which you previously installed Design Master Electrical.
Do not check the box that says "Load menus in AutoCAD" because the menus are already installed from the previous version of Design Master Electrical.
If you have a local installation, it is necessary for AutoCAD to be closed during the update.
If you have a network installation, you can install the update while AutoCAD is open.
None of your existing customization will be overwritten during the installation process.
If you have previously had trouble with the standard installer, download and run the limited privileges installer instead:
