Homerun Wire Callout and Tick Mark Options

Design Master Electrical allows you to control how wire callouts and tick marks, shown below, are displayed on homeruns.

To set these options, go to Options.

Ribbon: DME: Customization->Project Customization->  Options

Pulldown Menu: DM Electrical->Customization->Options->Edit Project List

In the Homeruns and Loops section, find the Homerun wire callouts and tick marks option. There are several configurations available:

  • Tick marks for all homeruns: Tick marks are displayed on all homeruns. Wire callouts are not displayed on homeruns.
  • Tick marks for #12, wire callouts if > #12: Tick marks are displayed if the wires are #12. Wire callouts are displayed if the wires are #10 or larger.
  • Tick marks for #12, tick marks and wire callouts if > #12: Tick marks are displayed if the wires are #12. Wire callouts and tick marks are displayed if the wires are #10 or larger.
  • Tick marks for #12 1-pole, wire callouts for all others: Tick marks are displayed if the wires are #12 and the distribution equipment has 1 pole. Wire callouts are displayed if the wires are #10 or larger or if the wires are #12 and the distribution equipment has 2 or 3 poles.
  • Wire callouts for all homeruns: Wire callouts are displayed on all homeruns. Tick marks are not displayed on homeruns.
  • No wire callouts or tick marks: Neither wire callouts nor tick marks are displayed on homeruns.
  • Nothing for #12, wire callouts if > #12: Wire callouts and tick marks are not displayed if the wires are #12. Wire callouts are displayed if the wires are #10 or larger.

    Maybe you can dim and undim display tick marks on homeruns based on display wire callouts on homerun. This has caused me confusion in the past and appreciate you explaining that it had no effect.
