This month, the Electrical Building Design Show discusses the latest features for electrical engineers in Revit 2026. In "Revit 2026: New Features for Electrical Engineers", David Robison explores how Autodesk has made several updates across the board, focusing on the parts that matter the most for the “Electrical” side of MEP.

We'd like to offer a gentle reminder that the ElectroBIM 2.3.1 Beta was released on March 18, 2025, and is currently available for download. This release improves support for workshare-enabled projects with multiple people actively working on them.

The 2.3.1 beta replaces the current version of ElectroBIM when installed and is required on all the computers running the software at your office. This beta updates all projects it’s used on, and the updated projects aren’t compatible with previous software versions.

We recommend having a secure backup system to ensure it’s easy to retrieve a copy of a project from the prior day, and the previous week and month.

As with any new version, there’s a possibility for bugs to be addressed promptly as they’re identified, and frequent updates will be made available.
