The latest Electrical Building Design Show is now available. In "Wire Sizing: Revit 2026 vs. ElectroBIM", David Robison takes a look at how wire sizing is handled in Revit as compared to ElectroBIM, and discusses which one handles it better in real-world conditions.
As of this publication, all episodes are available to view on the Electrical Building Design Show Playlist. If there are any you have missed, please go back through the playlist and catch whatever you would like to watch.
The next episode will premiere on Monday, November 3rd, so be sure to visit the Design Master YouTube channel and subscribe for notifications of new releases.
For those who preferaudio podcasts instead, there is a version of the show in that format also. It is carried on all the major podcast channels (Spotify, Apple, Google, Amazon, etc.), and can be found by searching for the show by name.
Autodesk University 2025 Recap
We are safely back from this year’s Autodesk University in Nashville, and it was another rewarding show.
Over the course of the three-day event (September 16-18), we met and spoke with many interested individuals, some existing clients, and others visiting us for the first time. As always, there was a lot of interest in ElectroBIM, but this year we also had several people coming up to see and learn more about FireBIM.
One highlight of this year’s show was that we reached out to all the electrical engineers we met while there and invited them to a group dinner on the second night. We had a nice group attend the dinner who were all appreciative of the chance to talk to other electrical engineers, since there were not many at the conference.
Overall, a great show, and we are looking forward to next year in Las Vegas.
