Project Database File Name

In all versions of Design Master, projects are organized in Windows folders. All of the drawings in a folder share a common project database. The start of the database file name is always the same for each software. When creating the database using the Start New Project command, you can include an optional suffix on the database. This suffix can be changed at any time using Windows Explorer.

The file name always starts with:

HVAC: dm_hvac
Electrical, Photometrics: dm_elec
Plumbing: dm_plumb

The file extension is always .dm.
