Dialog Too Large to Fit on Screen

Posted on April 27th, 2010. Last updated on March 21st, 2019.

Design Master requires a screen resolution of 1280×720 to run correctly. This resolution is required to fit all of our dialog boxes on your screen.

If your resolution is smaller and you try to open a large dialog box, an AutoCAD message that says “Dialog too large to fit on screen” will be displayed.

To fix this error, change your screen resolution, then try the command again in AutoCAD. If you continue to get this error after changing your resolution, reboot your computer. It is sometimes necessary to reboot in order for AutoCAD to properly detect the new screen size.
