Posted on February 22nd, 2019. Last updated on June 14th, 2023.

Q: Is there a way to add notes that only appear on the one-line diagram to an entity?

A: One-line diagram notes can be added to devices and feeders with the Insert and Modify Labels command:

  1. Run the command and select the entity to which you want to add a note.
  2. Near the bottom of the dialog box are Extra One-Line Note labels. Enter your note in the Prefix or Suffix field.
  3. Check the box in the Display column for the label, then press the OK button.
  4. Insert the label on the drawing the same way as any other one-line diagram label.

These notes are for informational purposes only and do not appear anywhere else in the project.
